A hand suddenly appears in front of you. It is striking that there's no arm or body attached to it. Are you hallucinating? In a flash of a second the hand disappears. You can still recall the direction the hand indicated. You assume that this is just a clue from the Maze maker to help you. And so you go in the direction the hand indicated.
